2. THE EVENT

Wovenhood is a physical endurance event organised by Invisible Reflections – Unipessoal, Lda.

The specific details of each event, including the event date, location, format, registration conditions and participation requirements, are communicated on the relevant event page and form part of the registration agreement.

Participants are responsible for reading all event information and participation requirements before completing their registration.

3. REGISTRATION

Registration is completed when the participant submits the required information and the applicable registration fee has been successfully paid.

A registration is personal to the participant unless a transfer is expressly permitted under the rules applicable to the relevant event.

The organiser reserves the right to refuse or cancel a registration where the participant does not meet the published participation requirements or where the registration contains false, incomplete or inaccurate information.

4. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Participants must comply with all eligibility requirements communicated for the relevant event.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and otherwise adequately prepared to participate in the event.

The organiser may refuse participation or remove a participant from the event where this is reasonably necessary for safety reasons, including where the participant appears unable to continue safely.

5. EVENT RULES

Participants must comply with all event rules, instructions issued by the organiser and event staff, and applicable safety requirements.

Failure to comply with the event rules may result in the participant being removed from the event without entitlement to a refund, where permitted by applicable law.

The organiser may modify operational aspects of the event where reasonably necessary for safety, logistical or organisational reasons.

6. EVENT DATE AND LOCATION

The event date and location are communicated on the relevant event page.

Participants are responsible for arriving at the designated location within the required time and following all check-in and participation procedures.

Failure to attend the event does not, by itself, create an entitlement to a refund.

7. FEES AND PAYMENT

All applicable registration fees are displayed on the relevant registration or event page.

The price shown to the consumer includes applicable taxes and charges unless expressly stated otherwise.

Available payment methods are displayed during the registration and payment process.

Payment processing may be carried out through third-party payment service providers, including IFTHENPAY.

8. CANCELLATION, REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS

Any cancellation, refund or transfer of registration is subject to the conditions applicable to the relevant event and to applicable consumer law.

Where specific cancellation, refund or transfer conditions apply, these will be communicated to the participant before or during registration.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable Portuguese or European Union law.

9. EVENT CHANGES, POSTPONEMENT OR CANCELLATION

The organiser reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel an event where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, public authority decisions, safety concerns, force majeure or other circumstances that make the event unsafe or impracticable.

Where an event is postponed or cancelled, the organiser will communicate the applicable arrangements to registered participants, including any applicable options concerning a new event date, transfer or refund, subject to applicable law and the specific circumstances.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

The organiser shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where this results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include, without limitation, extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, public authority restrictions, strikes, civil disturbance, serious infrastructure failures, public health emergencies or other events that materially affect the safe or lawful operation of the event.

11. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

Participants are responsible for providing accurate information during registration and for complying with all applicable event requirements.

Participants must follow the instructions of event staff and must not engage in conduct that places themselves, other participants, staff or members of the public at unnecessary risk.

12. LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

The organiser shall not be responsible for loss, damage or injury to the extent that such loss, damage or injury results from the participant’s own acts, omissions, failure to comply with event rules or instructions, or other circumstances for which the organiser cannot legally be held responsible.

13. PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected during registration and participation is processed in accordance with the Wovenhood Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

Further information regarding the collection, use, storage and protection of personal data is available in the Privacy Policy.

14. PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO

The event may be photographed or filmed for documentation, editorial, promotional and communication purposes.

Any use of identifiable participant images will be carried out in accordance with applicable law and the information provided to participants regarding image rights and personal data.

15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Wovenhood trademarks, logos, visual identity, text, graphics, photographs, videos and other content published on the website or used in connection with the event are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without prior written authorisation from the rights holder.
